Our years of experience and qualifications in health and social care ensures that we provide excellent care to our residential care, respite, and dementia residents. Staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide the required support to each individual resident’s health and wellbeing. Although we are happy for people to call unannounced, making an appointment allows us to answer questions in more detail, spend more time with you, and help you make an informed choice about whether Fairways is the right place for you.
Yes, respite and day care is something that we offer to support people who wish to remain in their own home. We are happy to consider regular bookings to give a family member or carer a break or simply a one-off booking to help with a breakdown in care or to allow for a holiday.
We recognise that food is a big part of what keeps us happy and healthy so we try to provide an enjoyable, varied and nutritious menu.
Yes, our fully trained chefs can meet the requirements of all special dietary needs.
We strive to ensure our residents are maintaining their physical and mental strength in a happy environment at Fairways. Our activities team headed up by our experienced Activities Co-Ordinator, provide stimulating and, most of all, fun activities, events and entertainment every day.
Yes, although we do provide several pieces of furniture we do encourage our residents to personalise their room and make it their own, after all, your bedroom door is your front door.
No, guests are welcome anytime at Fairways. Families are also welcome to join us for any of our planned activities and trips out.
Yes, we have Internet access at Fairways. We also keep up with social media with our very active Facebook page.
Yes, we respect all cultures and religions and individual needs are catered for.
Yes, we have a Hairdressing Salon within the home with visiting stylists.
Yes, this is discussed on admission. All bills are sent directly to the resident or their family as agreed.
Residents are free to go to bed and wake up as you would in your own home. If assistance is required then we would ensure the appropriate support is available.
